HAPPY INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP DAY!

Hello

That single word

commencing all friendships,

opening all the doors.

It crosses bridges,

it's said with handshakes or hugs,

or with a wave, but always a smile,

and the lucky hear it.

Hello.

Friends

We sit here face-to-face

assembling Lego pieces

of a fairytale broken world,

as we talk about

the real one we live in,

more broken

than what we now build.

We'll need more time

for our own.
